Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 9, 2026
InSync is developed by Caemso Nexus.
InSync is designed around a simple privacy principle: interactions should disclose no more information than necessary.
1. Privacy by design
InSync uses local device capabilities, including Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and, where supported and applicable, Ultra Wideband (UWB), to establish physical context between participating devices. Physical context acts as part of the privacy and interaction boundary: it helps determine when certain privacy-preserving interactions may occur.
InSync does not use BLE or UWB to publish a user's exact physical location to other users, and it does not provide a public map showing where individual users are located.
2. Bluetooth and Nearby Interaction
InSync uses Bluetooth Low Energy to enable participating devices to establish local physical context and communicate where required for InSync functionality. On supported devices, InSync may also use Apple's Nearby Interaction technologies and UWB capabilities to improve physical-context information.
Bluetooth and Nearby Interaction access are subject to Apple's system permissions and controls. Disabling a required permission may prevent functionality that depends on it from operating.
3. Profile and preference information
Information that you enter into InSync may include profile information, preferences, interests, signals or other information used to determine relevance or control what you choose to disclose.
InSync is designed to process and store this information locally where the functionality permits. Information is not automatically made visible to another person merely because participating devices share physical context.
4. Interactions between users
Depending on the features you choose to use, you may voluntarily exchange profile information, messages, photos, contact information or other information that you explicitly choose to disclose. Information deliberately sent to another participant necessarily becomes available to that participant.
5. Messages and photos
InSync may allow users to exchange messages and photos. InSync does not silently upload private chats, photos or profile information for unrelated purposes.
Content exchanged with another participant may be retained on participating devices according to the functionality of the app and the actions of those users. Once information has been disclosed to another person, InSync cannot control how that person subsequently stores or uses it outside the app.
6. Location and physical context
InSync is not designed as a continuous GPS location-tracking service. Its core physical-context functionality does not require publishing your exact GPS position to other users.
Device-level proximity or physical-context information may be processed where necessary to enable functionality you choose to use.
7. Reporting and blocking
InSync provides controls that allow users to block another participant. InSync also provides a reporting mechanism for inappropriate behaviour or content.
A report is not silently accompanied by private conversations, photographs or complete profile information. If a support or reporting route allows you to provide additional information, you choose what to submit.
8. Information you send to Caemso Nexus
If you contact Caemso Nexus for support, submit a report or otherwise communicate with us, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, the contents of your request, and information necessary to investigate a technical or safety issue.
We use that information only for purposes reasonably related to handling the request, protecting users, maintaining InSync and complying with applicable legal obligations.
9. Data retention and deletion
Information stored locally in InSync remains subject to the controls available in the app and on your device. Removing the app may remove locally stored application data in accordance with iOS behaviour, but it cannot remove information you previously chose to disclose to another person.
Information submitted directly to Caemso Nexus for support or reporting purposes is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, protect the service, resolve disputes, meet legitimate security requirements or comply with applicable legal obligations.
You may request access to or deletion of personal information held by Caemso Nexus by contacting info@insync.network.
10. Permissions and your choices
You remain in control of iOS permissions granted to InSync. Where InSync asks you to make a disclosure or consent decision, you may choose not to proceed.
11. Third parties
InSync does not sell personal information. If third-party infrastructure or software components are used to provide InSync functionality, they must be used consistently with the privacy and security commitments applicable to the service.
12. Security
InSync is designed to reduce unnecessary disclosure of personal information and uses technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and functionality involved. No software or communication system can guarantee absolute security.
13. Age
InSync is intended for adults aged 18 years or older. The service is not intended for children.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as InSync develops. Material changes to the way InSync handles personal information will be reflected in an updated version of this policy and its effective date.
